Venezuela’s National Consumer Protection and Education Institute (Indecu) closed 75 food vendors.
The measure was taken in most cases because of speculation in food sales.

This Friday Venezuela’s National Consumer Protection and Education Institute confiscated a total of 10 tons of chicken. The product was then sold at a regulated price.
This is part of a government effort to counter speculation and corporate resistance against price regulations.
