In July, NUJ magazine the Journalist, which is distributed to all members of the union, printed an article about Chávez's visit to London. Partly
in response to this piece, journalist Nigel Fountain wrote an article
for the October issue which was steeped in propaganda against Chávez
and the Bolivarian revolution. This generated numerous letters of
complaint.
