Theory of Permanent Revolution, London Print
Wednesday, 25 April 2007, 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Hands Off Venezuela tries to hold a more in-depth political discussion meeting once a month in an attempt to try to understand more about the Venezuelan revolution and its political context. In the past, we’ve had excellent speakers from a range of solidarity campaigns come and lead off discussions on topics such as the environment, indigenous issues and the history of struggle in Bolivia, Colombia and Ecuador. Our next subject has been set for next Wednesday when Alan Woods, author, editor of marxist.com and cofounder of HOV will be introducing a discussion about the ideas behind Chavez’s recent declaration that he follows the theory of the Permanent Revolution.

The meeting will be held at the usual time and place (Wednesday 25th, 7pm, NUJ Offices, 308 Gray's Inn Road, King's Cross). Reports and organisational matters will be condensed at the top of the meeting followed by the discussion. Try to be prompt as the meeting must end at exactly 20:30 when room time expires! Hope to see you there! All welcome!
