 Born
near Barcelona, Catalonia, Jorge has been involved with international
solidarity with the Venezuelan revolution from the very beginning. He
was a founding member of the international Hands Off Venezuela
campaign, has written extensively on the Bolivarian revolution and has
traveled around the world speaking in its defense. He has visited
Venezuela often, participating in meetings, forums and discussing with
revolutionary activists. He has also been actively involved in the
movement of occupied factories in Venezuela. Recently he participated
in the Havana Book Fair, just as the corporate media frenzy over the
change in leadership in Cuba was unleashed.
